The mission of Construction Education is to foster rapid growth in your construction career through online learning and live demonstrations

About Construction Education

The construction industry has an education gap. Construction Education was founded to fill that gap and educate industry professionals. Online courses have been developed to boil down years of on-the-job training into high-impact classes. These courses have been vetted and taught for many years at the university-level.

No matter which role you have in a construction project, there is a lot to learn and it takes years or decades. it is vital that you understand terminology, processes and relationships. . The typical source of this education is on-the-job because this material is not taught in schools. Young professionals spend an extraordinary amount of time trying to understand the complexities of the industry. Every project is different and teams change drastically from one job to the next. Time can be better spent by adding value to projects instead of learning the fundamentals.

Based on extensive feedback from industry professionals and students across the world, key online courses were developed - How a Building is Designed and Built, Construction Management Fundamentals and the Project Manager's Playbook for Construction. These courses consolidate years of experience managing projects into high-impact training.

The founder of Construction Education, Matt Morris, has personally experienced the growing pains of a career in construction. As an owner with the U.S. Air Force, a project manager with a large commercial general contractor and as an educator at three universities, Matt understands the seemingly endless requirements placed on our industry professionals and also understands the subjects which are missing from our formal education system.

Collaborating with Dr. Matt Hallowell, award-winning professor and researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder, the Advanced Safety, Energy-Based Safety and Front-Line Safety courses were developed. These refreshing, new safety series were created after years of science-based research and field verification. It is truly like no other safety training you've taken before.

Construction Education was designed for you. The complexity of a construction project is overwhelming for everyone. We want you to spend more time making a difference on a project, and less time learning processes and the technical details. These courses will foster rapid growth in your education and accelerate your career. We hope to see you in the course.
